The classic trek to the foot of the world's highest mountain. Fly into Lukla's mountain airstrip, follow the Dudh Koshi valley through Sherpa villages and monasteries, and climb gradually to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m) and the viewpoint of Kala Patthar (5,545 m). The itinerary includes two acclimatisation days, in Namche Bazaar and Dingboche, so your body has time to adjust. Nights are spent in family-run teahouses with hot meals and mountain views.
